Funk pioneer Sly Stone has overcome plenty. After taking a three decade his last album being 1982′s solo effort, "Ain’t But The One Way."  Stone, along with his backing band The Family Stone, returns after 30 years new release on 16th,  August 2011. The long awaited follow-up includes three previously unreleased songs and reworkings of past hits, many featuring some of Stone’s famous friends. 

What a way to start off the summer. "I'm Back," This album includes hits by Rock, Jazz, Funk and Blues artist. With icons all star: Bootsy Collins, Ray Manzarek, Johnny Winter, Jeff Beck and Ann Wilson.

From the College Hall of Fame to successful Jazz Musician we will always remember Wayman Tisdale. He was to return the studio the  following week  to work on a project with jazz guitarist Norman Brown before he passed away.  Tisdale, with his wonderful melodic bass-virtuso gave to the world, smiles, jokes and music from his heart.  His musical  inspiration came from his life, his family and basketball. Bowman's influences is infuse in  Gospel, Blues, R&B and Jazz. After spending 6 years as the musical director for gospel group, The Winans, Tim took a break from the road and embark on a solo career. 
 
In 2010, Bowman released "The Collection."  His work is beautifully done as we showcase some of his finest work Let It Shine and uplifting Gospel My Prayer, My Praise.

One of the most under-rated vocalist of his time.  You've heard his voice on many albums hit after hit.  Quincy Jones signed Ingram  to record vocals for three of the tracks on the record "Just Once," "One Hundred Ways" and "The Dude."  A beautiful ballad and duet with Patti Austin "Baby, Come to Me and How Do You Keep the Music Playing." Don't forget P.T.Y.  with pop superstar Michael Jackson released his chart-busting 1983 Thriller album. Doobie Brothers recording  with Michael McDonald "Yah Mo Be There."   In 1987 duet with pop vocalist Linda Ronstadt, "Somewhere Out There," from Steven Spielberg's animated An American Tail, landed Ingram at Number Two.  Read more

Carlton has won three Grammy Awards for his performances and compositions, including the theme music for the hit television series, Hill Street Blues (1981). 2009, Carlton joined Steely Dan as guest guitarist for six dates in New York, Los Angeles and Chicago. In June 2010 Carlton released Take Your Pick, an album made with Tak Matsumoto. This album won the 2011 Grammy for Best Pop Instrumental Album, Carlton 4th Grammy win. In February 2011 Carlton released "Plays The Sound Of Philadelphia."
