Maxwell- The Coast Radio Jazz & Soul


Award for Best Male Soul/R&B Album,  "Now"  went to No.1 on the Billboard 200. His debut album, the soul inspired Maxwell's Urban,  Hang Suite was released two years after its recording because of record company doubts about its commercial potential.

The single "Ascension" proved the record company wrong and helped take the album to gold sales. It also earned Maxwell a Grammy nomination for Best R&B Album available on

As producer, composer, arranger and instrumentalist. Williams composition of beautiful musical landscapes for Gospel, R&B and Smooth Jazz.  Music is a part of Homer’s life, percussion was obvious at the age of 5. At nine years old he became a member of the Wicomico Youth Orchestra the violin became the next instrument he owned.  Soon he discovered the keyboard and it wasn’t long before original orchestrations were swirling around.  Through formal training Homer was piecing together intricate rhythms and melodic string patterns far and beyond his teachers.
