2012 Highlight of NAMM front and center with James Jamerson Jr., James Jamerson 3rd or just "James Jr."  He is the son of the most influential bassist in the history of  Motown legend of the late great James Jamerson Sr.

His style came from his dad James Jamerson Sr.  an approach for each Motown artist such as Marvin Gaye, Smokey Robinson and Stevie Wonder. James Jamerson Jr. has recorded with just about everyone from the Crusaders, B.B. King, Bob Dylan to Teena Marie.
