James Ingram


One of the most under-rated vocalist of his time.  You've heard his voice on many albums hit after hit.  Quincy Jones signed Ingram  to record vocals for three of the tracks on the record "Just Once," "One Hundred Ways" and "The Dude."  A beautiful ballad and duet with Patti Austin "Baby, Come to Me and How Do You Keep the Music Playing." Don't forget P.T.Y.  with pop superstar Michael Jackson released his chart-busting 1983 Thriller album. Doobie Brothers recording  with Michael McDonald "Yah Mo Be There."   In 1987 duet with pop vocalist Linda Ronstadt, "Somewhere Out There," from Steven Spielberg's animated An American Tail, landed Ingram at Number Two.  Read more
